Food Service Assistant

The Opportunity

Crowley Care has exciting opportunities for part time and casual Food Services Assistants to provide high quality food and customer services to our residents within our aged care facility in a way that makes our customers continue their day with a smile.

This varied role is an opportunity to grow in your profession while working in an organisation who genuinely cares for older persons.

Hourly rate of pay: $30.18 per hour.

Both AM and PM shifts available: 6.30AM – 1.30PM or 12PM – 7.30PM

About you

Successful applicants will have:

  • Communication skills to effectively interact with residents, clients, relatives, staff, management and stakeholders
  • The ability to create a positive, everlasting impression with the most professional, courteous and expedient manner and to continually strive for superior customer service
  • Demonstrate flexibility to perform multiple functions and tasks
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised as well as within a team environment, planning and prioritising work
  • Willingness to further own knowledge and skills relevant to the role
  • Proactive, punctual and reliable
  • Genuine empathy with the aged and a positive attitude to ageing
  • Knowledge of food safety, infection control and hygiene principles
  • Previous experience within Food Industry is desirable
  • Certificate 2 in Hospitality preferred
