We are seeking experienced Café Assistant(s) who are able to achieve great customer service with food preparation and barista skills. Under the supervision of the Hotel Services Manager, the Café Assistant will join the Hotel Services team and work within the various Crowley Cafés that are central to our facility.

Hourly rate of pay: $25.93 per hour +. Hours are 9am to 3pm

Apprentice Chef

The Opportunity

Are you passionate about cooking and seeking to undertake an apprenticeship in a supportive and nurturing organisation that genuinely impacts people’s lives? Crowley Care in the beautiful Ballina offers an excellent opportunity to launch your hospitality career.

You will need to be passionate about food, career driven and a team player As an apprentice chef, your training will encompass fundamental culinary skills including functions, bulk cookery, fine dining and al la carte, knife techniques, ingredient knowledge, use of commercial kitchen equipment, and standard kitchen procedures.

The successful candidate will be tasked with preparing and serving food under the guidance of others and learning all facets of the hospitality industry, guided by the Hotel Service Manager/Catering coordinator.

This position provides the chance to acquire significant workplace skills, earning a nationally recognised Certificate III in Commercial Cookery through a structured training program.
